On the afternoon of November 11th, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering") communicated with the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics of Shenzhen University of Technology in the 8B604 meeting room of the Modern Transportation Center. Secretary Yu said that the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automobile has always been committed to keeping up with the pace of Shanghai’s economic development, and hopes to establish a long-term and stable cooperation mechanism with the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics of Shenzhen University of Technology. , Actively play the leading role and political function of party building, cultivate talents that meet the needs of enterprises, and serve industrial economic development and regional economic development.


At the meeting, Dean Cui Guohua introduced the development of the college and the discipline of mechanical engineering from the aspects of the college's development history, discipline construction, scientific research, and talent training. Dean Cui said that the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering has a complete range of majors and outstanding scientific and technological innovation characteristics. He hopes that in the future, he can communicate with the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics of Shenzhen University of Technology, learn and build together, and promote the transformation and development of the college.



Franz, Dean of the School of Urban Transport and Logistics, expressed his sincere thanks to our hospital for the reception. Dean Franz said that the purpose of this visit is to understand the professional construction, discipline development, and talent training of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering; to learn the experience and practices of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in school-enterprise cooperation, laboratory construction, and teacher introduction. Luo Qin, secretary of the Party branch and deputy dean (school-enterprise cooperation commissioner) of the School of Urban Transport and Logistics, introduced the basic situation of the college from the aspects of school purpose, faculty, international cooperation, and professional settings.


At the exchange meeting, participants actively conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on how to better introduce talents, continue to promote undergraduate teaching construction, engineering professional certification, and high-quality employment for students.


Before the meeting, the School of Urban Transport and Logistics of Shenzhen University of Technology, accompanied by Deputy Dean Guo Hui, visited the Mechanical Science and Technology Innovation Laboratory in Building 1, Vehicle NVH Laboratory in Building 5, Automobile Science and Innovation Laboratory in Building 8, and Automobile Teaching Experiments Science and technology innovation bases such as laboratories.


It is reported that the School of Urban Transportation and Logistics of Shenzhen University of Technology was established in 2018. It currently offers four undergraduate majors in transportation, logistics management, automobile service engineering, and vehicle engineering. There are three master's programs enrolling students in engineering and mechanical engineering.
