Bio:
Mr.Liu (M.E. and D.E. Thermal Energy Engineering) has more than 36years experience in university teacher (being born on 1963 andworking in 1986). He works at the subject of thermal energyengineering in Harbin University of Science and Technology (HUST)until 2007, is department chairman of thermal energy & powerengineering research, Director of Energy and Environmental ProtectionEngineering Institute of HUST. He also serves as aprofessorof Energy and PowerEngineering Departmentof SUES. He specializes in combustion techniques, fuelscharacterization, industrial saving energy, and emissionscharacterization and control hardware development and testing. Hiscurrent research interests include combustion intensification ofpulverizedcoal, NOx 、SOxand dust removal with non-thermal plasma and catalysis, and thermalenergy storage and utilization in low temperature exhaust heat.
Prof.Liu has published over100refereed journal papers, edited 4books. He is an inventor for10patents and patent applications.
Dr.Liu received a bachelor degree in thermal energy engineering fromShanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering, China, and a masterdegree and doctorate in applied thermal energy engineering fromUniversity of Shanghai for Science and Technology, China.
