SMAE always puts the improvement of teaching quality in the first place, constantly updates the teaching concept, persists in teaching reform and research, strengthens the teaching management, and forms a relatively complete teaching system. The school has a team of teachers with reasonable age, knowledge and discipline structure, good ideological quality and deep academic attainments. By the end of December 2019, the school has 198 staff members, 160 full-time teachers, 120 of whom have a doctor's degree, 75% of the full-time teachers have a doctor's degree, 36 doctoral teachers under the age of 35 (including 1 teaching assistant), 17 professors. There are 62 associate professors, which provides a strong guarantee for the leaping development of the discipline construction and scientific research of the school.
