In order to better implement the important role of employment work to benefit people's livelihood and promote development, and to provide a solid guarantee for the employment work, on the afternoon of November 21, the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in the first floor of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center hall held a "'machine' youth, Zhi 'Auto' future" job fair. Yu Rong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Fang Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the College, and Huang Zhongzi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, went deep into the site of the job fair and talked with employers and graduates to learn about the demand of employers and the situation of students applying for jobs, as well as the employers' opinions and suggestions on the College's employment work and talent cultivation. College employment counselors, graduation counselors together at the scene of the graduates employment guidance.


Enterprises participating in this job fair include Huawei Pilberg Tinted Parts (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Shanghai China Spring Manufacturing Co. The atmosphere at the scene was warm, graduates came to the scene "armed" and full of confidence, submitted their resumes to the preferred enterprises and positions, and interviewed with the HR directly at the scene. Wu, a graduate of the Department of Mechanical Manufacturing, said, "The college held a special job fair to give us a good platform for employment, I can conveniently and professionally related to the direct dialogue with corporate HR, but also allows me to more intuitively and clearly understand the industry's needs and their own positioning." For enterprises, the job fair is also an opportunity to enter the campus and understand the job-seeking intentions of college graduates. Personnel specialists of many enterprises said that offline job fairs are more efficient than collecting resumes online. According to statistics, students submitted about 800 resumes on site, and the number of people who reached a preliminary intention was about 200.



The College always focuses on supply-side talent cultivation and employment guidance, and vigorously explores and provides high-quality employment resources. This special job fair was carried out under the guidance of Songjiang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the university employment center, providing graduates with a broad job-seeking platform, building a bridge between the campus and the job market, and helping graduates achieve high quality and full employment.
